Butler Snow Recognized For Leadership in Diversity
The Hinds County Bar Association’s Law Firm Diversity Leadership Award was recently presented to Butler, Snow, O'Mara, Stevens, & Cannada, PLLC, in recognition of the firm's support of the HCBA Diversity Roundtable Conference held in Jackson. Don Clark, Chair of Butler Snow, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
More than 300 business leaders, educators and attorneys from six states attended the Roundtable where representatives from more than a dozen Fortune 500 companies addressed the topic of diversity from a corporate executive and corporate counsel perspective.
“Butler Snow remains committed to promoting diversity in the workplace,” Clark said, “and we were honored to sponsor and promote this year’s Diversity Roundtable.”
Anderson to Present CLE on HIPAA Anniversary
Butler Snow attorney Robert G. Anderson is a featured speaker at the Mississippi College School of Law CLE Mini Marathon. Anderson, a member of Butler Snow's White Collar Crime and Government Investigations Group and former Assistant United States Attorney, will present "Federal Grand Jury Practice" on August 15. Hutchinson to Present at DRI's Nursing Home Litigation Seminar
Butler Snow Attorney Chad R. Hutchinson is a featured speaker at the upcoming Nursing Home/ALF Litigation Seminar of the Defense Research Institute. Hutchinson will present "Advanced Deposition and Trial Techniques for Cross-Examining the Combative Plaintiff's Expert" on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 4:15 p.m. Hutchinson is a member of the firm's Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Industry Group.
