Pepke, Hudson Elected Officers of Memphis-Midsouth Chapter of Federal Bar Association

Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, PLLC, has announced that Amy Pepke and Eric Hudson were elected officers of the Memphis-Midsouth Chapter of the Federal Bar Association – the professional organization for private and government lawyers and judges involved in federal practice. Pepke will serve as president, and Hudson as treasurer.

Both attorneys are located in the firm’s Memphis office and are members of Butler Snow’s Commercial Litigation Group and the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Group.

Pepke recently completed a two-year term on the board of directors and house of delegates of the Memphis Bar Association and has co-chaired the quality of life committee. She is the former vice president of the Memphis-Midsouth Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and served as secretary on the association’s board of directors. Pepke is also a past president of the Association for Women Attorneys and a fellow of the Litigation Counsel in America.

Pepke is also an adjunct professor of legal methods at the University of Memphis Humphreys School of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international business and international relations from Springhill University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University.

Hudson serves on the executive committee of the litigation section of the Tennessee Bar Association and co-chairs the Toxic Torts Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He was named outstanding subcommittee chair of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association in 2008. Hudson is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and was named to the Top 40 under 40 of the Memphis Business Journal in 2007.

Hudson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Vanderbilt University, a Masters of Arts in biology from The University of South Florida, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Vermont Law School.

Hudson Featured Presenter at ACI Mass Tort Conference

Butler Snow attorney Eric E. Hudson will co-present "Minimizing the Threat of Medical Monitoring Damages and Plaintiff Recruitment" at the upcoming American Conference Institute's seminar Managing and Resolving Mass Tort Products Liability Claims.  Hudson, a member of Butler Snow's Commercial Litigation Group, has extensive experience as counsel for a number of large corporations in various mass tort cases.

Butler Snow to Present The Physician Payment Sunshine Act: A Legal Overview

Machelle D. Shields and Denise D.
