Butler Snow attorney Amy M. Pepke has been appointed President of the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners. The Tennessee Board of Law Examiners assists the Tennessee Supreme Court with the process of licensing attorneys. The board, an administrator and staff are responsible for conducting the Tennessee Bar Examination. The board members are appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Pepke is a member of Butler Snow’s pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare litigation practice group. For more than 20 years, she has represented clients in complex litigation including class actions, mass torts, consolidated actions and corporate criminal investigations. She has extensive experience defending national and international corporations, and individuals, in matters ranging from pharmaceutical and medical device product liability to international contracts to intellectual property violations.
Pepke has been recognized by Super Lawyers® and Best Lawyers in America®. She is a fellow of the American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Foundations and the Litigation Counsel of America, and a member of the Federal, American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations, the Association of Women Attorneys and the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inns of Court. Pepke received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Spring Hill College and her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.
