Angela works with some of the country’s largest insurance companies in extra-contractual claims and internal corporate investigations. She has defended numerous insurers, agents, and employees in extra-contractual litigation, including alleged bad faith and fraud claims.
Angela has defended cases arising from Hurricane Sandy for flood losses brought under flood insurance policies issued by Write Your Own insurers under the Nation Flood Insurance Program.
Angela has also served as discovery co-counsel for a national insurance company involved in mass litigation following several catastrophic weather events.
She is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Alabama Association of Arson Investigators and is AV®-Preeminent™ Peer Review rated by Martindale-Hubbell®.
Angela has authored an article for the Alabama Lawyer titled, “Municipal Liability Cap on Damages and UIM Insurance,” (July, 2021).
In 2000, Angela obtained her J.D. from Faulkner University and is admitted to the State Bar of Alabama, the U.S. District Courts Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, the U.S. Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
