Butler Snow attorneys James E. (Jeb) Bailey III and William R. (Bill) O’Bryan, Jr. have been appointed as members of the 2025 Board of Directors for the Turnaround Management Association’s (TMA) Tennessee Chapter.
Established in 1988, the Turnaround Management Association is an organization focused on the corporate restructuring, renewal and corporate health space. Members include turnaround practitioners, attorneys, accountants, advisors, liquidators, consultants, as well as academic, government employees and members of the judiciary.
Bailey is a member and a former leader of Butler Snow’s Finance, Real Estate and Restructuring practice group. He works with companies and individuals in business reorganizations, litigation, workouts and bankruptcy proceedings. Bailey has been recognized by Lawdragon 500, Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers® as a Mid-South Super Lawyer, BL Rankings, The Best Lawyers in America® and Martindale-Hubbell® with an AV®- Preeminent™ Peer Review rating.
Bailey is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and a member of the American, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations, a past Chair of the Tennessee Bar Association Bankruptcy Section, a past Director and President of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute, and Co-Chair of the Local Rules and Forms Committee of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Tennessee. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis.
O’Bryan is member of Butler Snow’s Commercial Litigation practice group and focuses his practice on the resolution of business disputes, commercial litigation, creditor rights, bankruptcy and restructuring matters. He is AV®- Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and has been recognized by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers® and BL Rankings, The Best Lawyers in America®.
O’Bryan is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Foundation and the John Marshall American Inn of Court. He is also a past member of the Board of Directors for the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University.
