Maggie is a member of Butler Snow’s Constitutional and Civil Rights Litigation group. Maggie represents government and executive-level officials, facility operators, attorney general, agency and private general counsel, corrections officers, and probation and parole professionals in class-action lawsuits. She helps correctional leaders and their agencies navigate constitutional matters impacting medical and mental health issues, safety and security matters, custody classification, inmate transport, and housing.

• Maggie has experience in handling various aspects of complex litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Maggie’s practice was focused on representing hospitals, physicians, and nurses through all stages of litigation. She also represented insurers, reinsurers, and syndicates in managing and monitoring medical malpractice claims. Maggie also previously handled multidistrict litigation, served as a Staff Attorney for the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, and as an Assistant District Attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit of Alabama.
