Butler Snow attorneys Gadson William (Will) Perry and Sloane Jumper Hankins were recognized during the Memphis Business Journal’s Best of the Bar Awards. Perry was named the winner of the Ace Associate Award and Hankins was selected as a finalist in the Private Law Firm Extra Large Category.
The third annual Best of the Bar awards was held Tuesday, March 27, at the Memphis Botanic Garden; networking, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres began at 5:30 p.m. and the program began at 6:30 p.m.
Sloane is a member of our business services group and tax group. She focuses her practice on trust and estate planning, income tax planning and estate administration. Sloane is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, American Bar Association, Memphis Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of Memphis and Association of Women Attorneys. She previously maintained a federal clerkship with the United States Tax Court under Judge Robert Wherry.
Will focuses his practice on commercial contract disputes and other business litigation. His current representations include breach-of-contract, cyber-security, business-tort, product-liability and intellectual-property claims. Will has served as national counsel and counsel of record in 11 states and the territory of Puerto Rico. He was named a Mid-South Rising Star in business litigation by Super Lawyers® in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
