Caroline is an attorney in our Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare Group, as well as our Products, Catastrophic and Industrial Litigation Group. She defends pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in mass tort and individual cases pending in various state and federal venues throughout the country.

Experience

  • As an attorney in Butler Snow’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Healthcare group, Caroline Walker represents pharmaceutical and medical device companies in product liability litigation across the country. She has experience in all aspects of mass tort litigation.
    • Acts as lead counsel in hearings and case workup in multiple jurisdictions, including Alabama, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.
    • Served as trial lawyer assisting lead counsel in multiple cases involving medical device litigation.
  • In re Ethicon, Inc., Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2327, United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia: Core member of the Gynemesh deposition, motions, and expert teams.  
  • Caroline also served on the trial team that obtained a complete defense victory after an eight-day jury trial in March 2022. Shears v. Ethicon, Inc., et al., Case No. 1:20-cv-00264, United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
