At Butler Snow, Ken Pollock is a member of the firm’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets Group, where he regularly serves as bond counsel, as disclosure counsel, and as counsel to underwriters, issuers, borrowers, developers, trustees, banks and credit enhancers in tax-exempt and taxable financings for governmental and private entities.
With over 30 years of experience in public finance transactions, Pollock has built his expertise working across virtually every financing structure used by state and local governments to finance governmental projects, including general obligation bonds and sales tax bonds for counties, municipalities, and school districts, revenue bonds for water, sewer, and storm water systems, urban redevelopment projects, airports, arenas and convention facilities, gas and electric utilities, and other governmental enterprises, tax anticipation notes, bond anticipation notes, annual appropriation debt, and debt secured by intergovernmental contracts.
Ken Pollock is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was recently recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for the 5th year in a row for his impressive work in Public Finance Law (2020-2025). Previously, he has been recognized by Georgia Trends in the annual “Legal Elite” rankings. Pollock is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the State Bar of Georgia’s Local Government Section.
Pollock earned his undergraduate degree in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law.
