Butler Snow attorney Matthew J. Hundley was recently invited to join Elizabeth A. Whalley, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Phlow Corp., and B. Frank Gupton, Chair of the VCU Department of Chemical and Life Science Engineering, to discuss and debate the interplay between engineering, contracts and products liability with students in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science Engineering Department at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Hundley has previously joined the class as a guest lecturer this semester to discuss the extent that contracts shape liability between the various entities involved in the design, construction, manufacture and distribution of products.
