International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global awareness day that celebrates the accomplishments and achievements of trailblazing women across social, economic, cultural and political spheres around the world. In addition, IWD also serves as a collective reminder of the complex challenges and obstacles women have faced and are still facing in every industry. This year’s International Women’s Day theme, #EmbraceEquity, focuses on the critical difference between equity and equality. Today and every day, Butler Snow continues to expand firm efforts that seek to provide an inclusive environment that not only supports the achievements of women but also facilitates opportunities for success across the board.
Butler Snow has long been dedicated to promoting and supporting the advancement of women in law including the development of programs and initiatives that prioritize inclusivity as well as diversity. The firm believes in committing both talent and resources to furthering the success of women in law with a heavy focus on diversity and inclusion at all levels. Additionally, Butler Snow strongly believes that creativity and innovation are directly connected to inclusion.
