Overview

Dee Wisor is of counsel in the firm’s public finance group.  After 47 years practicing law representing governmental entities and other transaction participants in public finance transactions and economic development matters, he retired from active practice working on bond transactions at the end of 2023, but he continues to provide institutional knowledge and assistance to the firm’s public finance lawyers. Prior to retirement he worked on general obligation bonds, user fee revenue bonds, special assessment bonds, excise tax revenue bonds, lease transactions, tax increment financings and private activity bonds. He is known for his expertise about Colorado’s constitutional Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (“TABOR”). Dee has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® since 2007 and is a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.  He is a former President of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
